Unstable brightness

HEllo xmbc Folks

I have just got and Asrock ion 3d.
an di notice that in dark scenes the brightness turn up and down on it's own.
Anybody know why.

My TV is a sony v5500. 40"
i Use HDMI and i goes in my Stereo first before going to the tv.

Yup, it's dynamic contrast. You need to disable it in the Nvidia control panel.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).

Many Thx.

It worked, even the nvidia driver was set du use player settings but when i switch to use nvidia and turn on the. dynamic contrast it worked like a charm.

No problem, it's really incredible that that option is still kept. I can't imagine when and how it could look good, honestly.

I believe it was introduced to help with some games.
