Hello,
i still need a dvd drive for my htpc,
can you please post some quiet models?
(I have a 360, and that drive is far to loud.)
Would it make sense to get a blu-ray drive since xbmc cant play them..?

It makes sense to get a blueray drive if you have BR disks you want to play...
I replaced my overly loud and slow to spin up Lite-On drives with Samsungs. Been buying Samsung disk drives ever since. I have heard Sony drives are the same as Lite-On but IDK. I really like Samsung's optical drives for their speed, reliability, low noise, and competetive price. |

but does XBMC even support blu-rey playback, i thought it doesnt, so where would be the sense to get a DB drive?
