Watching on PS4 and nexus player and I don't see 60 fps on anything, not that I have any way to measure it but just looks the same as last year. Very clear but still not near as smooth as tv. This addon seems a bit worse.
UPDATE: At least this addon runs my Ps4 app freezes up after a few minutes every time I start it.

If the 4,5 Mbit stream now support 720p@60fps, it should work.

Are you talking about this addon or mlb apps in general as far as the 60 fps not being ready?
MLB is not outputting 60 yet.
There are many different video streams for MLB. This Kodi app is not coded to receive the 60FPS steam when it's available.

Should be the start of regular season. But you never know with MLB.

It should still work as only a few devices will get 60FPS.
Do you know which devices will get 60 fps?
AppleTV 4, Roku, Chromecast, XBoxOne, PS4, maybe Nvidia Sheild. They closed the thread with the list. They have officially published it yet.
