Question  2011-06-28 20:09 [WINDOWS]Live TV with different skin Post: #1
Hi everyone,

i have Margo's Windows PVR-build installed and using the Mediaportal Addon to watch TV. I now wanted to change the Skin to Neon which has the "Live TV" Option in main menu but the screen freezes black when i try to activate it.

Is there any chance to watch Live TV with annother skin then Confluence?!

I am aware of this list and like i said i tried Neon which according to this list is able to display live tv....

It will be hit and miss when working with non-stable builds.

Maybe PVR devs or the skin author may shed more light on your issue.

Change name of MyTV.xml to MyPVR.xml in the 720p skin folder

I looked in the Neon Skin folder, there was a MyPVR.xml, but no MyTV.xml. Maybe you mixxed them up?! However, i copied the file and now i have both in the 720p directory. I can now open the Live TV tab but there only is the default menu on the left side, but there are no submenus/channel listing.

Can i do anything about this, like simply copy the MyTV.xml from the confluence skin or something?
