Shared Library corrupted after accessed by ATV2
#1
Hi,

I have two Windows PCs running xbmc. I have setup a shared library by using mysql. It is working fine with these PCs. But when I am adding my ATV2 to this shared library setup the library gets corrupted for the two Windows PCs. Log File is writing something like "library is newer than expected". I have figured out that the ATV2 is creating - when not using the shared library - following libraries:

MyVideos53.db
MyMusic16.db

My Windows PCs are creating following libraries:

MyVideos34.db
MyMusic7.db

Any guess how I can solve this issue of two different library formats?

Update so that both use the same database versions.

I am using the most recent version for the Windows PCs and a nightly build for the ATV2. How should I update XBMC?

i had the same problem i solved it by using windows builds from here

http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/

and ATV builds from here

http://hadm.net/xbmc/ae/

so they are both on the same mysql version

oh had to dump mysql tables and recreate

Thank you! I installed the latest build on the Windows PCs and now it is working. Both PCs and the ATV2 have now the same db version and the centralized mysql library is accessible by all systems.
