MI-008 fan direction?
#1
So I got a 120mm fan into the MI-008 case on the side. It is right beside the CPU heatsink and the top quadrant is blocked by PSU (and the PSU sites like right above ~50% of the headsink)

Should I have the fan blow out, or suck in and blow across? Apart from the mentioned PSU/heatsink nothing else is really in their so it would blow out the vent on the other side.

Thinking this might be a better option than an exhaust? As it would pull in whatever air, immediately blow over CPU/etc. and out other side. Thoughts?

your asking if the FAN should intake Cold Air or Exhaust Hot air?

Well,
you can try both ways
while monitoring the CPU temp using an application called HWMonitor....

After that, you'll know which way is best!

Personal preference really.

I prefer to have most case fans as intakes, with dust filters. This limits the dust getting into the case, as the inside of the case has a slightly higher pressure than the outside. If you have the fan as an outlet, air would flow in through all the cracks in the case, bringing dust with it.
