How to add Movies?

Hi people,

I have a jailbroken apple tv, I'm trying to add the movies that I have in my External Hard Drive but when I click Videos---> Add Source---> Browse I dont see my External HD, Can someone please help me?

How is your external connected? Directly to the ATV?

having the same issue with adding media sources. where can we go to get step by step directions
