Which Audio Should I Pick
#1
I'm backing up some Blurays and I'm not sure which audio to choose on some disks. Most of them have TrueHD or DTS-MA written out, but some of the older ones don't.

Which one of these has better quality?

PCM > DTS > AC3 I would say...

Also of note: I think that goes for filesizes to.

Also, you can't pass 5.1 RAW over SPDIF, there isn't enough bandwidth. So if you're planning on watching them on a HTPC that doesn't have HDMI audio to the receiver, you might as well go with AC3
Code:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `xbmc_%`.* TO 'xbmc'@'%';
IF you have a mysql problem, find one of the 4 dozen threads already open.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure. I am outputting via HDMI to a receiver that will handle any of the audio formats out there currently.

I just wasn't sure if there was a difference between the AC3 and the PCM. I just thought that choosing AC3 would mean the stream was already decoded and the PCM would be done by the receiver. I guess I assumed they would be the same quality.
