xTV-Spaf on a iMac
#1
I have that running on a 4GB iMac. This morning I could not start it (opened and directly closed). So I decided to install from scratch and deleted everythin.

A few weird things now happen:

1. All of a sudden I get "Warning Low memory" messages although there is abut 2.5 GB free.

2. In each folder I have a "folder.jpg" and this was shown when the cursor is over that folder. Not it does not show the folder.jpg in most cases.

3. I have the feeling that the autoscan for Movie Information does not work. Maybe caused by the memory warning?

Thx for any help.

PS: Autoscan is on and earlier (before the new install) about 90% of all movies was properly recognized.

antoniong,

Couple of things tiger.

1. Skin is xTV-SAF not Spaf, little issue I know but will save you 25% of your keystrokes when typing name Big Grin

2. Have you tried running another skin to see if there are any issues, because all of your issues sound like XBMC build issues.

3. As Davillia would say "No log file, no soup". You need to provide some sort of info for me to try to diagnose the problem (a log file is you FIRST thing you should provide).

Wyrm (xTV-SAF)
If required a FULL debug log can now be submitted from the skin in settings->skin settings->support. Or follow instructions here if you can't access skin settings.

Running simplicity then I see no erors. Using the latest Xbmc & xTV-Saf (dl'ed today). Logfile can be found here: http://ifile.it/8q6n57k/xbmc.log.zip

antoniong,

XBMC is hosed at a guess. Log file is filled with 'deleting item blah' and at one point free memory gets down to 4M (yes that's right 4M not 4G). If you are using a XBMC nightly try a different one. If you are using Dharma 10.1 (log file says XBMC build is from March) delete your old download and have another go as it would appear to be corrupted.

For future reference please use pastebin or something similar for log files as downloading zip files to look at logs is a pain (and something I would probably ignore in the future) .
