Hi all, I apologise in advance as I'm a complete newbie to XBMC on Windows.

I'm trying to get my setup to look more like this:


and less like this:


...but I can't figure out where in the settings to set up the skin like this. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what skin you have etc... Most of the extra views are available from the library mode. Check out some of the wiki's...

Once you get a hang of things... those views will be second nature.
