Great change IMHO - usability of iOS interface but with your own spin. Logical and siutable for any touch device.

After you've installed a nightly build, you still have to set the Touched skin in settings -> appearance. Just select the Touched skin.

is there any way I can get this to work on linux? maybe by disabling gesture api in the skin? which parts in the theme config should I comment?

The skin should work fine on linux but their is no implementation of gestures in xbmc for linux, only windows 7 and iOS have it currently. This has nothing to do with the skin its a XBMC thing. you could probably mod the skin and add a bunch of scrollbars but thats up to you

To not clutter up the interface, you could make it a gesture on the videosurface? Swipe left skip back, swipe right skip forward (if gestures are supported on the videosurface yet.

Even if I do add support for it there are a few things like the EPG grid that don't even react well to the mouse so won't work at all on a touch screen so it will be limited

This skin looks awesome, just what i have been looking for, but i'm using windows 7, and for some reason i can't select the skin, i click it, and it flicks back to the old skin without even showing thisone. (and i'm using a touchscreen) It's probably because its mainly for ipad, or do i need to do more than moving the skin.touched folder to "AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons" and selecting it in XBMC? I hope a later release works on Win 7, this looks great! Keep up the good work!

works fine for me on windows 7 infact its what I make it on (with a mouse) so no idea what your issue may be maybe look at your xbmc.log file and check for an error. Maybe try the "Install from zip" option in the addon manager of confluence

Thnx foor the fast reply! I checked the log, it looks like a problem with the resolution, and i tested it on both my pc's, both 1920x1080, same problem, even when i set the resolution to 1280x800

your probably running xbmc dharma version its not compatible with that

Nope because as you can tell it wants to use the pal dir and pal is 720x576 low resolution where Eden XBMC lets you skin in highrez 4x3 and the skin is in 1280x970 plus some of the built in commands it needs are not available in dharma
