look though the posts and could not find an answear
when i select web radio or movie trailers, nothing happens. normally i was assume that this was caused by my network congiuration being wrong, but the weather and imdb features both work fine.
if anyone has an answear to this it would really help. thanks
extra info. i am conected to a cable connection through a linksys router. xecuter 2.3, x2 bios, evox is my main dash, latest version of xbmc (however this has been a problem though many builds for me)

same happenig for me. using latest version, 4th mar 05. use dto work fine. i can get album info from allmusic and weather is fine.
any ideas peeps?

i don't think the scripts are included on this release. i'm browsing the forums myself to find out how to get the game and movie trailers enabled. :hmm:

even though weather and imdb work, that does not mean other internet related features work. the reason being that your dns may not be properly setup. xbmc will use hardcoded ips for weather, imdb, and a few others if the dns does not work. and that is not true for scripts as well.
anyhow, if nothing happens when you select either of the scripts, then that means you do not have the scripts. check your xbmc/scripts folder.

there's your problem right there.
whatever ftp you used to transfer converted the filenames to lowercase.
that is incorrect. it should look like:

tslayer you are right. the file name were converted into lower-case.
i will post the complete kmlbrowse script, in order to avoid the confusion for everyone else.

also what settings should i select in say flashfxp to stop it from changing everything to lowercase?</span>

i am not using flashfxp, so i cannot be of any help to you.
i am using total commander, which is quite nice. on tc when copying the files to the ftp server, uncheck the option to automatically convert them to lowercase.
