No network fixed

Not sure if this is a bug or something else.

Any way, I went to browse to my Mythdora system from
my XBMC Live system and kept getting network not connected
error. I traced all my cabling and that looked ok. I then plugged
my XBOX running xbmc in and it could see the network so I new that
cabling was ok.

I did a dmesg |grep -i eth0 and got an eth0 link is up, and another message saying that there are no IPV6 routers. Did some searching around and found a few references to ipV6 and stopping it. I checked my configs and it seems that ipV6 is off already.

As a last try, I turned off my MSI router, rebooted my XBMC Live system and the tickettape started showing up again. So I'm guessing that XBMC and my router got in to some sort of argument and I ended up loosing a couple of hours tracking it down

do you use dhcp or static IP? might be a IP address conflict of some sort

its hardly unusual to find that power cycling restores some temp issues with networking. Usually thats my first port of call checking the router hasnt dropped connection or modem.
