xbmc on windows 7 seems to boot up fine with it

turns out it dosnt work i put it in the wrong folder anyone care to have a look and tell me why

give a log file and a crashlog when the file is in the right place ... see the first link in my sig how to find it ...

found out why it was crashing but still not been able to sync both atv2 anyone got this working that can help me please

As others have stated - you need to post a log.

Is the file permissions for advancedsettings.xml correct?

You need to da a "chown mobile:mobile advancedsettings.xml"

Btw, I have the same setup (An HP WHS and two ATV2's) and it doesn't run too smooth when You save the thumbnails on the WHS.. :/

Well, hope it will run better on my Linux Ubuntu Server. Thanks for the heads up.

Also, I know how to set permissions, just meant what should they be? I can always do a 777 and not have to worry about permissions.
