Frodo only has single thread support for 10bit, so a single core in a Q9400 is likely not enough. Gotham alphas all have multi threaded support though and can use all the cores.

That explains it I just tried the latest Gotham build though, and I just get garbled output (looks like a giant static glitch). The stats show all cores utilized at around 30-40% though, so that means at least the threaded decoder is working. Also I'm now missing settings to tweak my video output.

Ah well, it's still good news; it's not my system that's broken, it's being attended to and eventually it'll work

I guess ill try the gotham build then. Makes since that frodo doesnt work as well as KMplayer with lav filters if it doesnt support multi threading
