Just want to know if you guys wan't the one from xbmc or the one from mpc-hc. Of course the mpc-hc one won't be in the gui settings its going to be something like an advanced settings.

To aid in getting dsplayer in master, i would just go with xbmc gui method. Also, maybe the same for font, etc settings. I expect Team XBMC will like that more as it's more integrated?

still no reply as to why aeon mq3 skin can't be installed with the latest build?

asked a few times but never got an answer.

installs fine on the build from 12/20 but crashes on 12/25 build.
tried on both laptop and desktop and nothing.

hope this is fixed in the next build.

Zeerow I had same issues I installed MQ3 from the zip file instead of the repo and it worked fine. Here is the link to the zip file http://mod-skin.googlecode.com/svn/trunk...-1.2.0.ziponce you DL it put it in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons folder and then change skin. I would delete the existing folder prior.

didnt work, still crashed.
i'm getting the following error when installing from repo OR zip:

16:44:54 T:4088 ERROR: convert_checked iconv() failed from UTF-8 to UTF-16LE, errno=2(No such file or directory)

edit 2:
extracted the zip and copied the resulting folder to the addon's folder and worked.

i looked at the subtitles placement and i'm only able to align them like in mpc-hc. In xbmc you can only set the y position from the gui. And i didn't find a relation between those 2.

id say go with mpchc for subtitles?

cause of the customizability that you cant get from XBMC gui

thou as i was saying the best thing would be to integrate mpchc's features into xbmc gui IF possible, keeping as much as possible of whats going on IN xbmc, instead of the outside....
