Apple just dropped a new firmware for the Apple TV2

If you didn't block updates from apple...
XBMC will be crashing due to the new update..

there are a few issues with the new firmware so update at your own risk, see below...

UPDATES
09/27/11: Overflow now working on build 8F455.
09/13/11: Nightly build install issues with dpkg have been resolved, i.e. using CTRL+C when it hangs should work.
08/21/11: Build 8F455 has known issues with: RemoteHD plugin, Overflow and unofficial build updates.
08/19/11: Seas0npass 0.7.8 has been updated to support iOS 4.3 Build 8F455. Jailbreak FAQ has been updated with build 8F455 info.

Only thing I've read is ability to "stream purchased shows from the cloud" and adding Vimeo.

Yes. Wait for a jaibreak update, and the test of xbmc on this new firmware.

Help! I'm new to here but just tonight my atv2 keeps crashing out of xbmc. I did have the updates enabled but have now disabled them, however it still keeps crashing out. Only on xbmc not on iTunes homesharing? Is there anything I can do to sort this out ?

I get an error when i try to install updatebegone,
dpkg was interrupted you must manually run dpkg configure - a to correct the problem.
any idea how to fix this?? thanks

i ssh dpkg --configure -a and fixed the error but it keeps crashing
