Screensaver animation separate from dimming
#1
i like the animated screensavers.
but i also like the dimming feature.
unfortunately both cannot run at the same time (i think).
is it possible to have a separate 'screensaver dim on/off' and a separate 'screensaver on/off' with 'screensaver of type x' feature.

are you implying that you want screensaver running while the screen is dimmed?

okok...you made your point....but
perhaps it would depend on your dim% setting

why would you want that feature? the dimmer ave the burning of images the same as the animated screensavers?

you obviously have a valid reason but i find it quite unusual.

just struck me as odd to combine the two (dim and animation). yes i know, the point is to prevent burning in, but for the eye, those bright screensavers look as if they completely miss the screensaver point. i mean look at the blob thingy. i like it allot but.....its just way too bright. then it struck me that i cannot dim it in xbmc. and as it strikes me as a minor software detail to implement....(being a hardware dude....). it must be psychological.
well suppose i could always fiddle with the tv settings then he.
