[WIP] Media Manager for NAS coded in php
#61
Any interest to share code on github? For others to work on it too and push code to yours. You stay in charge that way but development could go a lot faster.

Is it working with json-querys?

Ofcourse I will share the code. I'm not familiar with github, but I'll give it a try.
Hopefully the code will be online this week.

Should I make a separate thread for this ?

json-querys: The only thing for now with jquery (ajax) is to toggle the watched status of a movie. But this still needs some development.

Hi everybody and happy new year !

I'm back Big Grin

Sorry for my long absence here, and the delay in development ...

These days, I took the time to develop my application arround XBMC and Eden...

For now, it still does not download as there are large parts of code that I have to reorganize and more features to add.

I will publish new screenshots in the coming days...

Greetings

I have done my first screencast... Confused
(i can't do screenshots with the screengrab extension not compatible with the latest firefox)

You can download here : http:tamplan.free.fr/demo_web.ogv (tested correctly with vlc).

In this screencast, you 'll can see :
- navigation as guest
- user authentification (with more rights to change things)
- poster and backdrop selection
* note poster and background selection for a movieset is very long because all the posters and backdrops for the movies in movieset are loaded, i must change this to load only the poster and backdrop for each movie.
- photo, poster and backdrop upload
- reorder movie in set
- a very nice error page because i have miss to change the name of a table (users management) Laugh
- some message text must be change
- search tool depends on the page viewed :
* in actor index/view, search do search in actors only
* in movie index/view, search do search in movies only
- in place editor to change plot and/or overview
- advancedsettings.xml file upload
- ...

I made this screencast and i made the changes from the cleint desktop without XBMC is running (database and thumbails are stored in the NAS).

Be patient for the first release, sure it's not a vaporware !! Wink

BTW; Is it multi language? Maybe you can already post your language files so we can already start translating for you. You will have multiple languages at launch date;

I can do dutch (together with Marz2zz)

It's one of the big problem, i have copied/pasted/moved partd of file and change organisation of files often.

I don't want people waste time before i fix more the application.
