Scripts and webradio

i have been using the january build of xmbc for some time now and have used the top 500 radio stations under my music almost every night. a couple of months ago, it stopped working. i could get the streams lists, choose a stream, then when it went to download the stream to start playing, it hangs the box. i found a fix on here for it back then, where i edited a file (kml something or other) and then it worked again. however, i had to rebuild the xbox a few nights ago and the radio has once again started doing the same thing, however i can't find the fix now

can anyone help? i've tried all the usual changing the network settings, checked dns etc, still no joy
