I believe my issues with shows and movies showing up 2x or 3x has to do with the NFS. When i used SMB or the Zeroconfig i never had this issue.

But now zeroconfig does nothing and SMB says ERROR 2 not share

here is the paste bin log. Sometimes when you click on one of the extras that is not really there it says check log one or more items failed to play.

nope ... in your log is not even one hint about u using NFS. It allways says something about DAAP (iTunes protocol?) and your zeroconf picking up that itunes stuff. And thats crashing your XBMC.

No hints for you - since you seem to not really know what you are doing and which media protocols you are using. And i don't get it aswell. Sad

let me do it again. I know I'm what I'm doing. When i click on SMB it says error 2. so maybe there is no crash log because its not crashing its just giving an error.
But then it did say check log after the movies would not play so I'm not sure whats going on here.
Then when i click on zeroconfig it had stopped crashing once i turned off iTunes server on the my book live.

NFS just makes everything show up twice. I had it all showing just once but then the next time it comes on and scans the library for new things it duplicates everything. So that is why i want to go back to using one of the other protocols.

your episodes are there twice at least. There is still everything doubled in a ".appledouble" folder and xbmc picks it up.

suggestion.

1. clean up your media folders on your mac and triple check that there are only one version of your episodes (find . -name "name of avi file" will tell you if there are dupes)
2. Delete your database
3. Delete your sources.xml and mediasources.xml
4. Readd your nfs source and set content to movies or tv shows and let it scrape

I noticed some are not showing double but when I search I still only show 1 of each. I went in and did a clean db from within xbmc. Then did it again each time it cleared some shows up.
Then I went in and manually deleted from library on each extra ep that was showing. Then hit update library and this time it did not readd them as it had done before.

I did this before seeing your post so let's hope this works.
