Hey guys this is the final build of AEON (as far as DJH's git goes) dubbed AEON Auriga created by DJH (Duncan Harris) i have resurrected it from its grave because i feel it may be useful to some people.

I am currently working through the code bringing it up to par so if it doesn't behave how you want its because i haven't got there yet big ups to MarcosQui because i borrowed his addons browser

If your going and start bashing it because of its look or lack of features don't do it here i don't want to know about it!

In its day it was the crem de la crem of XBMC skins a lot of people say it was never finished that's true but skins never are so here you go guys just didnt think this should die this skin wont be actively updated but will clean the code up a bit and add a few small tweaks here and there.

If i can update the code to the modern way of doing things i think it could be a good resource for someone to use as a base for a new aeon mod without being scared off by the cluster f#%k of code the current mods have anyway it is what it is enjoy!

Skin download link below!

AEON (Dharma)

Still some more work to fully be dharma compatible but not much

To do:

*Add option to disable add-ons in home menu (forgot about it)
*Fix add-ons browser changelog (just noticed need to change to DialogTextViewer.xml) FIXED
*MyScripts.xml has been merged into the MyPrograms addons (need to look into this)

If I recall correctly the original AEON was missing lots of stuff and hitcher basically did the other 50% to finish it off and thus AEON hitcher was born

Skins I have done....

Nod yeah i remember something like that i also considered using it instead of DJH's git but noticed that hitchers mod is also 200mb and i thought that was a bit on the high side would rather add cast and trailer stuff myself anyhow only took a hour or so to get this all going will check out hitchers see if i should just work off that been a long time since i last checked that out to be honest i couldn't remember so didn't know what to start with I do remember that it was not finished i just want a classic Aeon that doesn't cook me dinner and fold my laundry and has more buttons and lights than Christmas at mission control

I did this a few months back for a personal project. I rebuilt it over the foundation skin xml by xml. I just never released it because I didn't think there would be an audience for it with Aeon Nox and MQ. The beauty of DJH's orginal version I still think is amazing.

Nice to see that someone is digging up this old gem and freshen it up.

Off topic: Does anybody know where Duncan Harris (DJH) is? H eis truly a pioneer in the XBMC skinning community. Maybe he had more important things in life than skinning.. Nod
