makemkv 'v' fabdvd
#1
I have been using makemkv for the last few months with mixed results. Sometimes it would work perfectly, sometimes the finished mkv was either only partially playable (stuttering etc) or completely unplayerable.

I initially put this down to XBMC (SORRY) as it was the only software I used to play these files.

However, I have recently started to use FAB DVD. It is able to make mkv's in about the amount of time as makemkv and it has the bonus of the films being stutter free in XBMC :-)

Just wondering if anyone else had similar issues

Yea makemkv can be stuttery at times, but I always used anydvdhd with makemkv and it works pretty well. I think dvdfab works better.
