I have a single mp4 file with strange symbols on it in xbmc (win)
I do not have them with explorer or total commander.
and i cant rename the file, to get rid of the symbols.
don't see anyting with property on the file either
this is very strange..

(clean name from exploer)

i have
windows 7 home.
xbmc latest version.

can you post a screen shot on photobucket and then link it here so we can see what you are talking about?

I'm also assuming you've tried the 'edit title' from the context menu and it's giving you problems?

Hey. I fixed it.
I had to complete remove all the caracter from the filename, and retype everyting.
before i just tryed to delete the strange symbols.
perhapse one the the letter or the ( ) in the filename was some special symbol ?
