Default Viewtype for Video Add-ons

Hello.

I'm currently using Night Purity and I'm not crazy about the 3d Square Viewtype that everything defaults to when navigating Video Add-ons. Having to select Files for each new menu I navigate to is very inconvenient.

I've searched up and down for posts that could offer some help, but have found none. Best I found was someone with a similar issue roughly a year ago, but there were no suggestions.

As I'm sure most are aware, Disable Views in Skin Settings only has options for Movies, TV, and Music views, none for Video Add-ons.

Any help here?

This has never bothered anyone else?

Maybe there's a file one could modify?
