Downgrading to 10.1 "Dharma" or lower for ATV2
#1
Apologies if topic was already covered. Due to existing issue (http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/5503), I need to downgrade to lower version. Can somebody point me to the location where proper build can be found?

There is no 10.1 for ATV2. The code was split at 10.0 for ATV2/iOS, then merged with pre-11 code. If the change that broke this was added seven weeks ago then I guess you could just use a build from about that time. http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/atv2/deb/

Of course you will be trading one bug for other bugs by doing this.

too right. I downgraded to 10.07 briefly and found that it couldn't decode my 1080p content nearly as well. I am still on iOS 4.2.1 so hardware decoding worked of course

I have just upgraded to the latest nightly release as rick rude but when I try and play a movie it starts to buffer, they are all mp4 files, they play fine on mac mini. Is that a problem for this build.

use mediainfo to get your codec info, and post the output of that as well as your xbmc.log to pastebin. I haven't had any worse buffering on this build personally.

Resolved the issue for some reason hardware acceleration was turned of. Playing fine now
Going to give it a test with a few movies tonight just to make sure
