Anyone got vdr as backend with dvb-t that contains aac-latm audio
#1
I'm trying vdr as backend for dvb-t service.
Video is h264 and audio is aac latm.
I don't get audio with the xbmc plugin (vnsi) for vdr.
I'm not sure where the problem, ts recorded with vdr do contain audio.
I didn't got audio also from the sxfe frontend.

Edited:
I've got an advancement understanding what is wrong.
An issue related can be seen here, https://github.com/pipelka/vdr-plugin-vn.../issues/18

I still want to here about success setting vdr with dvb-t service that have aac latm audio.
Probably like New Zealand freeview service.

This issue had been fixed by pipelka.
I guess the master branch in the git would update soon, so anyone who have this issue should compile the vnsi server from git.

the vnsi server plugin is not in xbmc's tree (cause it has nothing to do with xbmc). so get the plugin from pipelka's repos.

Found a problem with PVR? Report it on Trac, under "PVR - core components". Please attach the full debug log.

I know just wanted to update, so one who experienced issues with vdr as a backend server for xbmc when dvb-t service uses aac-latm will find this info about the fix.

As the use of aac latm isn't that rare http://igorfuna.com/dvb-t/
