How to intergrate Netflix as seemless as possible.

Responding to my own post,

I don't think the rename of eshell will easily work. It appears that some type of network vars are set at exe and my rebuilt eshell does not set them in order for the original to work.

I'm having a problem with playing anything through the WMC Netflix plugin. actual inching of the plugin through xbmc works great, it's just when ever I start something instead of playing the video it just goes to the main page on Netflix. I have the same issue with the xbmcflicks plugin too.

I'm running Eden beta 3 on windows 7 64bit.

I can post a log file, but I figured that since the issue seems to be outside of xbmc it would probably be pointless.

Ive been searching the forums for anyone with a similar problem and found nothing

Any help would be great, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this sort of thing.

Since I have changed TV and Bluray player I do not use this anymore as the interface on there is even better. So my support is very limited. Sorry

Actually it only works on my Office PC (Win7 32bit) with the normal ehshell.exe that leads straight to WMC... But on my HTPC I have a modified ehshell that leads to XBMC from my green button on my remote....

How can I change the code on this to lead to ehshell2.exe?

Any screenshots or anything for this working? How seamless is it? The horrible netflix plugin is the only reason I use Mediabrowser over XBMC. My wife and son are avid Netflix users, and XBMCFlicks sucks. Hard to use and full of bugs. The Mediabrowser plugin is better in every way.

This is that same plugin! It just opens straight to it and minimizes xbmc in the background! It works pretty fluid. It is totally worth the switch from the clunky mediabrowser! I switched and havent looked back! XBMC has so so so much more to offer!

I definitely agree. XBMC is "THE" frontend to use, but the XMBCFlicks was the big issue. My family use Netflix a lot, and had trouble with the XBMCFlicks plugin. I'll definitely be reinstalling and test this program to see if it will work for them.

I love this PlugIn but my only problem is it doesnt work if you have your remote with the "Big Green Button" and you either disable WMC or change the ehshell.exe to load xbmc instead of WMC when you click the Big Green Button. I will have to figure something else out.... Because I love my Gyration remote!

Now that I've seen this, I am hoping that there is something identical, but for MCE TV and/or MCE TV Guide. It'd be great to jus press a button and open directly either MCE Live TV or MCE's TV Guide.

An ideas if this plugin can be modified to MCE TV?
