Correct me if I'm wrong, but the latest release of MQ3 included PVR support.
Long time user of XBMC here, 2 years and ongoing, but have only just upgraded my HTPC with a TV tuner for UK freeview DVB-T.

I see TV Setup under Settings. However upon selection it doesn't do anything, is this menu disabled until the PVR integration is finalised?

If so, what are my alternatives? I've looked around and browsed the wiki, and it claims you can use software such a MediaPortal and MythTV. This part gets me a little confused, as they are different applications altogether. Furthermore on the MythTV website I couldn't find any executable/addon.

I'm new to the TV area of XBMC, so if someone could kindly just introduce me, I'd be much appreciative. One thing is sure, regardless of the means, I need to get PVR functionality up by the end of the week. Right now my only option is using the advanced launcher to open Windows Media Center. I'd rather keep it all integrated into Aeon/XBMC then open external software.

Aeon MQ3 now has got support for the Live TV menu and stuff, but you´ll also need an XBMC Version which is capable of PVR

Yeah, I've seen that before, but was cautious because I was unsure if it would support MQ 3. Will it auto-update to new revisions of the PVR inclusive XBMC when they are released? (sorry if this seems a ridiculous question)

In combination with my MediaPortal TV server tv is running on my client. Unfortunately the wake on lan add on has no function so I have to wake up my server via my fritz box interface. But is just for experimental things. ....

I tried to setup Mediaportal TVServer but XBMC crashes when activating the PVR Plugin. Using the Debug version of TVServerXBMC (.exe) everything is working fine. Any idea what I'm doing wrong when using the release version (.dll)? The logs don't give me any useful hints.
