just went to mplayer's website, and figure out it closed.
is that means mplayer gone? if so, how about xbmc since xbmc using mplayer as core decoder for video and audio?

sooo, they are making it mandatory to have a patent on software? i guess i don't get it. so they are trying to get rid of open source all together in lieu of having everyone patent their software. besides, this is only in britian. can't the rest of us ignore this ruling like certain sites do about copyright laws considering they don't apply where they are.

i hope mplayer doesn't disappear - i don't think it will. it will just go underground.
