I got a hard problem guys, I have an apple tv 2 with ios (i dont know the version, a friend did the jb for me and all the setup of xmbc). Please tell me were to find the ios version.
But i know that the build of XMBC is pre-11,0 git:20110623-62171b3 jun232011
Also i got the log files (at the end of the post).

Problem description: im streaming content from my windows PC throught the network and then suddenly in the middle of the movie the apple tv crashes (black tv screen, no input signal), i got no press menu a couple of times and back to the main menu we go. I have to forward the movie until I hot the crasj point... thing is that it will continue happening every 10 minutes or so.
When i was cheking if this was a network related issue i disconnected the ethernet cable from the apple tv, of course the buffer run out, but then i didnt get the problem from that movie anymore. I dont know, is so random that i could just be lucky, but i have tried a couple of movies with the system.

XBMC will crash if the atv is prompting for an update. Disable the updates via your /etc/host file, or use NitoTV and install updatebegone. There is a sticky thread at the top which explains step by step
