Harmony one skip and rewind buttons
#1
programmed my harmony one to run with device Media Center PC MicrosoftMCE Keyboard

I programmed the remote but i can't seem to get the next track/previous track buttons right.

i programmed it as the period and comma keyes ("." and ","), but when i'm in a full screen video, it acts as a 'big skip forward' 'big skip backward' instead of going to the next and previous movies in my queue. Are those the right buttons?

i got this from the keyboard mapping wiki page: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Global_Keyboard

Thanks.

I don't think the Next and Prev commands work when you're playing a video, though I vaguely recall they do work if you've created a playlist of videos and you're playing the playlist.

ctrl-F is the standard Windows Media Center keystroke for "skip next". XBMC supports this because many MCE remotes send a crtl-F when you press the "Next" button.

I assume your IR receiver uses the Microsoft eHome driver otherwise the MCE emulation wouldn't work on your Harmony. See http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Usi...in_Windows for how to check this. That article also describes how to configure eHome receivers to generate the MCE keystrokes like ctrl-F by using the MCERemote add-on or EliteGamer360's scripts.
