RE: Help with AURC-002 remote w/ XBMC Live

Question
Hi all, first post on the forums.

I am having some trouble with my XBMC live configuration,

Currently I have an Acer Aspire R3700 Nettop setup as HTPC,

I recently ordered one of the AURC-002 (http://www.acowin.com.hk/product535.html) MCE clones for my XBMC machine, I am unable to establish any communication with the remote.

I can give more specifics on my setup if you guys require them. I just wanted to get some information as to whether or not it is compatible with XBMC Live and how to get it configured. I've read into lirc but not sure where to start or what driver to use etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure I'm not the first person to have wondered about this particular remote.

Cheers, Kane.

I would ask in http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=52

In Windows the AURC-002 is Microsoft compatible and uses the eHome driver, and support for Microsoft compatible receivers is built into XBMC Live. Someone in the live forum should be able to talk you through the basic tests.
