I snapped up 2x these.

My flatmated measured up and estimated we only needed about 11M cable if we went up the ball as opposed to along the ground and up the stairs under the carpet.

I needed free postage and packaging.. couldn't help myself so picked up a 2TB hitachi. lol.

haha just need a method to stick them to the walls now.

my only problems left now are menus being shit on my ER1401 when i enable fanart (ill prob just install openelec now if im wired 24/7) and if 1080p really does play on the ER (never got a chance to see when i was wireless).

Those little cable clips I recommended are the best way - unless you know an electrician or sky insyaller, they usually have staple gun type things that do the same job without the nail.

Maybe the fanart issues will vanish when you get the proper network going?
