Hey there...
I am running a shared mysql database for xbmc and am having a new problem: do any of you fellows have any idea why I get this?

I just dropped the "xbmc_music" table and then had xbmc recreate it, I deleted the source in "videos" then created it again, assigned content "None" and then I tried to "Update Library".

XBMC tries the update in a flash but nothing happens.
Any ideas? Thanks

For future reference I solved this.
It was a skin problem with Aeon NOX, all you need to do is switch skins with let's say confluence. disable library view and perform a "SCAN TO LIBRARY operation", go back to NOX and everything will be fixed.
