Hi all

first of all i´ve to say that i´m a noob in XBMC. I found this amazing tool last week and try to figure out several things.

At the moment i´ve mainly 2 problems:

1. i miss the view "fanart"
and.
2. i can´t update the database with the local information.


and now in detail

the missing fanart view.

After installation of XBMC i was playing around and i found a view like this



espacially the combination of coverflow and fanart is what i like.
So, after playing around i´ve un- and reinstalled XBMC and since the reinstallation i can´t find this view anymore.

The database problem

i´ve reorganized my filestructure with ember media manager to get all information to each movie. In ember i´ve created to each movie a poster (cover), at least one fanart and a *.nfo file than i´ve saved this to one folder for each film. Now my filestructure looks like this:

[Movie1]
[extrathumbs]
movie1.avi
movie1.poster.jpg
movie1.fanart.jpg
movie1.nfo
[Movie2]
[extrathumbs]
movie2.mkv
movie2.poster.jpg
movie2.fanart.jpg
movie2.nfo
[Movie3]
[extrathumbs]
movie3.mpg
movie3.poster.jpg
movie3.fanart.jpg
movie3.nfo
...


If i create now a new source (Movies) in XBMC and scrape the sources, XBMC just looks online for all information and ignore the local stored information. So, how can i get the local stored and prepared information in XBMC ?

if it´s important, i´m using XBMC 10.1 for windows.
