Hi

Have an ASROCK MiniPC, installed Win7 Pro and then XBMC
..Installation went finr for both. when trying to run XBMC I get what looks like a windows error: CApplication::Create() failed - check log file and that it is writable....

Applologies if this question had been asked before and I missed it...

Looks like you need to install the GPU driver.

That's the problem. Install the video drivers from the Asrock web site.
