Cranial: when you're ready to do your guide, if you wouldn't mind loosely following this format, that'll minimize the "translation" needed when I'm putting it into the wiki:

I've edited the QNAP NFS wiki section to add a caution about the fact that a reboot will wipe out the changes that are made. Feel free to add/change/delete that as necessary.

Basically it's faster performance, and once set up, more stable.
