[Request] - Extrafanart Downloader

My idea for a script/addon if anyone would like to make it a reality. I lack the skills to do so.

This would look at thetvdb.com and fanpics.tv to pull additional backdrops/fanarts for tv shows and movies.

The add-on would create a folder in your show / movie directory called “extrafanart”. Then it would download all fanart images for the show or movie and put them in this folder and label the images fanart1.jpg, fanart2.jpg and so on.

You could specify if you wanted to download all images, or only 720 or only 1080 resolution images.

Something like Ember (EMM-R) or simular programs do.. that would indeed be great.
Would even be better if it would be integrated in an existing add-on/script.

Yes but this still needs some work outside xbmc and doesn't work with SQL server.

I've started to write an addon to do exactly this, at http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=111031

It needs a nightly build of at least Sep-21 though. Movie extrafanart is also in the pipeline but i want to make sure TV is working properly first.

Some future thoughts:
Now if we could combine all different script/addons (artwork organizer/logo downloader/cdart manager) in one easy to use interface it would make lives a lot simpler Wink

Beside that it's great that at least there's something that does the fanart part.
