favorites remember last played and change playback menue jump position
#1
hi ronie
2 short questions
in the favorites menu is it possible to remember the last watched episode?
so when I jump into favorites and click on a series it lands not in the seasons selection but jumps into the last viewed season folder and the highlight sits on the next unwatched episode?

i need to download subtitles for nearly everything i watch.
the normal way is to select the show, press select again to open the play menu, press 3 times left to highlight the subtitles menu, press select etc.
can I change the select position from pause/play to subtitles?
(i tried to make a one button shortcut on the remote but that did not work out)

what happened to the soapbox skin what you were engaged in?

thanks

nope, such functionality is not available in xbmc.

in VideoOSD.xml, set <defaultcontrol always="true">9040</defaultcontrol>

to map it to a remote button:
<somekey>XBMC.RunScript(script.xbmc.subtitles)</somekey>
should work afaik.

i'm still keeping it up-to-date with current xbmc development,
but no new things have been added over the past months.

ronie did the 9040 change in the current version?
I tried it but the active button is no where seen - nor is the right/ left arrow working to move the active button
