Can anyone help me with DVD menu playback very slow and sometime not playing. I have to go into menu and FF to get to play.

Get your XBMC.log file (with debugging on) and attempt to use the DVD image. Post it to pastebin and post the link in this thread. That should tell us a little more about what's going on under the hood.
