Does Icefilms have to be up and running for the addon to work? Are you gathering megaupload links when you are getting the information?
This addon does not work if Icefilms is down. It collects the links to the pages containing the megaupload links and not the megaupload links themselves.

Is there a way to run the update_tv_show_favorites.py script on XBMC startup and then force the XBMC library update?

This does work really well on the ATV2, but only for TV, (as the patch is Windows only for movies). However as the ATV2 can't really play back most hi-def movie content on icefilms (as it is XVID) it's not a huge loss.

I don't use it for all my TV just certain epic series, where it's a huge advantage to not have to store every episode. As such my meta info is small.

So I have been toying around with this for awhile now, I have latest stable XBMC, windows 7 64bit, patched XBMC with Icelibrary

I am able to create the folders and I am able to get the fan art and folder in library view for TV. I cannot for the life of me figure out why I am not getting a Movies folder or anything but TV in Library view. I assume that is why my update library only takes like 10 seconds cause I have no movies. When I view it not in library mode, I have 2 folders Movies(Icefilms) and TV Shows (Icefilms), in my Movies folder I have a huge list of everything from A-Z but it does not seem to export it to my library. Like I said, it does with TV, just not movies.

I have set the content of the movies folder to MovieDB, and TV to TVDB.

Am I missing something? I am fairly new to XBMC but I am a quick learner if anyone can help.

Thanx for everything

My guess is that you didn't run the patcher as administrator. Do you got a file named XBMC.bat in your XBMC folder? If you don't, then you didn't run the patcher as administrator.

Nice change to have a user select the shows he/she wants to watch as a favorite and to scan those instead of the entire collection.

One thing I'd like to ask. When choosing shows in the "add to favorites", is it possible to keep the selector bar from resetting to the top of the list every time you hit "OK/Enter"?

Currently when you are getting towards the end of a list, you select a show, then it goes back to the top and you have to scroll back down to where you were.

Just now starting to mess with it and gotta say, you did a very good job designing this.

Batch Wrote:The patcher does not affect the addon in any way. All it does is to change so strm-files aren't considered as playlists. What you experience is an URLError which you get when Icefilms.info are under a heavy load or has gone down and can't respond to the request in time. There is nothing that can be done other than waiting. I will create a proper error message to highlighten this when it happens.

The original Icefilms addon does everything most people need it to do. The difference between IceLibrary and the original Icefilms addon is that IceLibrary lets you add the movies and TV-shows to XBMC library.

Make sure you have selected a proper content for the "Movies (Icefilms)" and "TV-shows (Icefilms)" folders before you try to update them.

You were right on the money, tried to scrape tv shows this afternoon and it worked without an issue.
Thanks again for your pluggin. It is awesome!
