First things first:
AppleTV2
Darwin Apple-TV 11.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 11.0.0 thu Feb
Apple Software 4.2.2(2203)
XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20110902-139071b

I have two ATV2, upstairs, and downstairs. I cloned userdata folder from upstairs to downstairs unit. I then ran the command "chown -R mobile:mobile /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC" to set proper permissions. I have the following configuration set on both machines:Settings>Video>File List> Default Select Action>Show Info. Upstairs machine works correctly, but the downstairs machine does not show the info page when I select a movie, instead it begins to play the movie.
Any one have any suggestions.....I've tried all I know....stumped!

That is nothing we can see in the logs ... double check if all xml files /subfolders are on the destination. There must be something different in the folders between your two

Memphiz,.....thanks for the input. Man I got desperate and copied the whole XBMC folder from the upstairs box to the other unit, did not run the chow command, and now the downstairs unit is cloned just like the upstairs one! All is working again! Thanks Confused

if you didn't do the chown command then please don't post a bug report later if some settings can't be saved Wink

Understood.
Is there any documentation out there that actually shows what gets installed and where it is installed on the ATV2 when one installs XBMC? Just curious......Thanks
