I updatet today the newest version of atvflash, and now i got problem with my scraper. when i want to load movie infos he tell me that there is no connection to the server.

i tried with filmstarts, moviemaze, cinefacts, ofdb and moviedb. the only one is imdb that works...

got ATV 2 with iOS 4.2.1

someone can help me?

I have installed the nightly build: xbmc-20110904-a2098db-master-atv2.deb
I am streaming files from a Time Capsule via SMB.

Movie scraping works fine.
TV scraping through tvdb still doesn't work, although I no longer get the 'cannot connect to server' error.

On scanning my TV Shows, it managed to find data for GAME OF THRONES, but that was all.

I then tried going to an individual show of BattleStar Galactica and searching TV Information on just that one episode. I was asked for the name of the show, and had to enter simply BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, I then selected the 2003 series from the options list and it then found the data for that specific episode with no issue. However, I have to do this with every single episode - no autoscan...

My Battle Star Galactica Files look like this on my disk:

---Battle Star Galactica
----BattleStar.Galactica.S04E01.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION.mkv

So the scraper seems to be having issues parsing some show names from the correctly formatted episode names. When it fails, it just stops so it's hard to know which ones are causing the issue - or why as they look fine to me.

The TV scraper uses the directory name as well as the file names. Make sure the folder names are the same as the series name. Battlestar is not two words.

Scrapers can be painfully picky about file title. The first problem is your parent folder is "Battle Star Galactica" with a space between "battle" and "star". Instead name that parent folder "Battlestar Galactica (2003)"

Next clean up the file name. I did a test and was able to get a perfect scrape using "Battlestar Galactica S04E01.mkv"

I have renamed all my folders as a first step and this has indeed made a difference! - I thought TV scraping ignored folders and just looked recursively through file names no matter what folder they were in. This wiki page http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=TV_Shows_(Video_Library) didn't mention much about the folder name being important.

Anyway, my error and thanks for the help.

However, I did experience several crashes while updating my library. XBMC quit and I was returned to the ATV2 menu. On restarting XBMC again and rescanning I can continue scraping TV shows but after scanning one or two shows it crashes again.

I can send logs if someone tells me where to find them!
