.mp4 & .m2ts play problems.
#1
Hello, I am Rocky and brand new here:
I have Windows 7 running on a livingroom PC the size of a pocketbook which I just purchased.

After MSMedia Player caused plenty of trouble playing my movies, I been searchen the Net for Weeks for something better. I think, I have found it with XBMC.

All looked fine, but then: .mp4 & .m2ts files did not play, instead the titleline changed color to a mellow orange.

I am over 70 and have all the handycaps comming with this age. Please give clues/tipps how I can correct this problem.
Thank you.
Rocky.

If the title changes to yellow/orange this means XBMC is playing the title.

We'll need to see a debug log to find out what's going on. Select a sample mp4 that shows this problem. Enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, and restart XBMC, then try to play the mp4. Wait a couple of minutes then close XBMC.

Open the debug log by pressing Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into http://pastebin.com/ and post the link it gives you here.
