he he he..you not seen my cabinet..had it purpose built to house my rackmount....

MY CABINET

That mofos 2ft deep !!!with room to play as well..the codegen rackmount is 18" deep, of course i got all the vga plugs etc added to that but theres still room to play !...

Now you started me...ill tell you..i took the chance to embed all my wires in the walls and run CAT6 completley round the house when i done my extension..EVERYTHING culminates to that point behind the cabinet...in that cabinet is my virgin media super hub @ 50mb and a GB switch which serve the bedrooms and also the utilty room where the kids pc and NAS is situated, the cabinet also houses the Wii, PS3, Jtagged xbocx 360..thats all tied into an ONKYO TX SR606 AV switch...oh..and yes.. there is one technic 1210 mkll turntable there from my DJ days..couldnt let it go Shocked

I fail to see the benefit there...other than this one which is GDDR and some other slight benefits..plus and extra £25..they all have fans which will make noise...will the one i already choose not do anything that they will do with regards to XBMX ??

i'm a big fan of hd6570, but this version- Radeon HD 6570 2GB DDR3. i don't like any fanless stuff. to me, the heatsink by itself cannot blow the heat away from the card!
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC

>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

with proper software and hardware, you should be able to bitstreaming with that onkyo.

I beg to differ there, yes they will be hotter but they are manafactured to be fanless..a GPU can take more excesses of heat than a CPU..i had a fanned card that i put a passive sink on...it kept me warm but it never went tits up..i have faith in this card..im going to buy it..i might even stretch to the 2GB

Im not quite an audiophile yet..what is bitstreaming..will i notice it or is it one of those things that sound good on paper but the ear cant distinguish
