JSON is what an API like the TVDB's sends, rarely it gets cut off in the middle of transmission, and sometimes there's a fault in the JSON send by the API.

If it's from the TVDB, it's usually a user typo that uses HTML characters which confuses my JSON translator, which can be fixed by editing the data on the TVDB, but it's not easy to find out where it occurs.

In the other case, just trying again later usually helps, and maybe making sure that you have a good connection to the internet.

Cheers, second time around the scrape was successful.

However CPU usage is unusually high when scraping, this is not just a one off problem either ?
OSX even throws up a warning in the log ?

High CPU usage is unfortunately not uncommon behavior, and I don't know how to change this.
