Videos stutter for a couple of secs after skipping ahead/backward
#1
Some of my videos stuttered for a couple of secs right after skipping forward or backward. Playback became normal again afterward.

So far, this only happened in 1080 resolution videos encoded in VC1 in wmv container.

Using external player (VLC/MPC) solved my problem.

Is there any setting in XBMC can be adjusted to solve my problem (without using external player)?

try turn off refresh rate.
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

"Adjust display refresh rate to match video" was set to off from day one. As expected enabling this option didn't solve my problem either.

Does XBMC buffer files when reading from local hard drives? If so, where is the setting resided?
