Best Ubuntu distro for xbmc?

Hey
I just bought a new system to use xbmc over a gui os (Ubuntu / Win7)
The xbmc and everything works awesome under Natty, however i cannot use my remote to wake the system, which works in Win7.
But in Win7 i have preformance issues... Dont know why...

Which distro of Ubuntu works best with XBMC, wake with remote, ION, et c?

I'm using Linux mint 10 lxde. Very fast on a dell laptop d820 with a docking station. Trying to work up some brain power to install xbmc live which does not have a gui
