the AZZA Solano 1000R?? 20 drives?? i dont think so,,,
it has 10 x 5.25" external bays so, you can stick 3 x NORCOS 5-in-3
but then thats only 15 drives... and already more pricey then my build,,,

any idea on what sort of noise this is going to pump out? or what environment it can work in, i.e. in cupboard or a rack under the stairs?

Just need to wait for the hard drive prices to drop, and it looks like I got my server upgrade figured out. I am curious to know how much noise this box will make with the 120mm fan and any other silencing mechanisms that I can think of...

Will be building this very soon, probably not the best time to do it with the current state of hard drives but I need it..
One question I did have was I'm unsure how the drives will be powered? Is there something I'm missing that comes with the Norco case? I'm not seeing anything for power cables for the drives unless that's common sense so it was left out. Been reading a lot about the backplane, is there something there that'll split the power for all the drives? I'm assuming i'd still need power cables though..
